August 27, 2005 Gorge Rock Crawl Area- ORV Park Gilbert, MN

Personal Gear:

- Helmet (any type)

- Leather type gloves

Vehicle Gear:

-Winch (for extraction purposes)

-Winch weight or heavy rug (if equipped w/wire cable)

-Tree strap and pulley

-Recovery strap

-Fire extinguisher with gauge within drivers reach

-Spare tire in vehicle or near course in case needed for extraction

-Vehicle jack

Vehicle requirements: (Tech inspection the day of event required)

-Lap belt minimum

-Lap/shoulder belt required for door less vehicles

-Hard top, enclosed vehicles - 4 point roll bar required unless vehicle integrity has

not been compromised by modification, or previous damage of hard top.

-Open/soft top - 6 point roll cage (minimum)

-Recovery points, at least two (one front, one rear)

-Exhaust must pass 99 decibel ORV park requirements

-Registration for off road use minimum (ORV sticker)

-Must appear to be “safe” to all officials

-Suspension modifications are unlimited

-Drive train / power train is unlimited (no functioning rear steer allowed)

Class 1

--Wheelbase must be under 110 inches

--Tire size is limited from 33” to 35” (tire manufacture sidewall specs)

Class 2

--Wheelbase must be longer than 96 inches

--Tire size is limited from 36 to 38 inches (tire manufacture sidewall specs)

Class 3

--Wheelbase must be longer than 96 inches

--Tire size is limited from 39 to 48 inches (tire manufacture sidewall specs)
